“My daughter was still in 10th grade, so we weren’t ready for a 1-on-1 program yet, but we wanted to get an early start on the process of prepping for the ACT.

When I first told her about the Test Prep Gurus online course, she hated the idea. ‘Who wants to study for the ACT!’ she said. ‘She was even more thrilled when I asked her to complete her first practice ACT.’ But she eventually agreed to do it because she knew it was for her own good.

Then something weird happened. She kinda enjoyed the first class. Maybe ‘enjoy’ isn’t the right word, but she said it felt good to see that with a little instruction, she could solve the problems and boost her score.

After completing the online class and supplementing it with private 1-on-1 instruction from Test Prep Gurus teachers, she pulled her score up by 6 composite points! (the same as +240 on the SAT).

Now she can’t wait to apply to college and see where she gets in. Thank you Test Prep Gurus!“

FAQ:

What if I miss one of the classes?

All sessions are recorded and personal questions can be answered during office hours.

How do the practice tests work?

Practice tests can be self-administered at any time.

If the class is full, can I join the waitlist?

Yes, contact us here to join the waitlist.

What kind of score improvement can I expect?

Score improvements vary widely and depend on several factors:

  1. What is the student’s starting or baseline score?

  2. What level of math has a student completed before the class?

  3. Does the student attend all the sessions and complete all homework assignments and practice test sessions?

For a typical student starting in the 1000-1200 range on the SAT or 20-25 Composite on the ACT, we expect to see 100-200 points of SAT improvement or the equivalent of 3-6 points on the ACT scale.
